How to Wear

How to Wear your Spec-Taculars

O-Rings vs Regular Glasses Attachment:

Regular Glasses Attachment (adjustable) are the normal glasses attachments you see on most glasses chains. They allow you to be able to fit them to any size glasses (good for glasses with super skinny arms and larger ends) but can appear bulky when worn

O-Rings: I make the o rings myself. They range from 5mm all the way up to 10mm. They are small, sit tight on the frame creating a super sleek appearance. You do have to figure out which size fits your glasses best, but I have a size guide for that, or you're more than welcome to send me a photo via email at theframegameau@gmail.com if you need help

Drops (Come as 2 each):

Drops are like earrings for your glasses. They are light, small and just add that little bit of personality to your everyday specs

Short Chains:

Short chains can be worn by themselves or with a long chain to form a Duo. They attach at two points, the front of your glasses and just before your ears. They can be mixed andmatched with any long chain, so have fun!

Accents:

Accents attach to your existing short chains to add a bit of extra dangle! They are made

with lobster claws so they can hook right onto the chain! If you wish to wear an accent by itself, you can upgrade the attachment type to quick detach or secure lock, but this will mean you will no longer be able to attach it to the chain, it will act as a longer "drop" instead.

If you use lobster claw attachments, you will be able to wear them standalone or on your existing chains x

Duos:

Duos come with two short chains and one long chain. The short chains attach to your glasses, and the long chain clips onto the ends of those to create a full glasses chain.

If you're like me and love the look of glasses chains but don't always want something dangling all day, Duos let you switch it up. Remove the long chain half way through the day and wear the short chains on their own, then connect the long chain to itself to wear it as a necklace!

Attachments and how to pick em

Feature / Benefit Lobster Claw Quick Detach Secure Lock
Best for active / all-day wear ⚠️ (more for fashion than function)
Will not detach if caught or pulled
Easy to remove from glasses ⚠️ (requires unclipping)
Holds glasses securely around neck
Designed for quick on/off convenience ⚠️
Low-profile / slim size

Lobster Claw:

  1. You want a chain that will stay put, even when caught on things - lobster claws wont detach from your glasses unless you want them to. They are more secure and will hold your glasses if you like to use the chains to their full functionality
  2. You have mastered the necklace clasp and don't mind using it
  3. Are looking for a more budget friendly option
  4. Are after something with a smaller profile (more emphasis on the chains themselves)

Quick Detach:

  1. You want something easy to put on and take off (you don't even have to take your glasses off)
  2. You HATE the feeling when your glasses chains get caught on something and they yank you - quick detach will detach from the glasses first before it hurts your nose
  3. Your here more for the fashion of the chain than the function - quick detach will still hold your glasses if you want to wear them around your neck, but wont hold them if you run, jump or get caught on things

Secure Lock:

  1. Want a chain that will stay put, even when caught on things - secure locks wont detach from your glasses unless you want them to. They are more secure and will hold your glasses if you like to use the chains to their full functionality
  2. Still want something easy to take on and off - unlike quick detach which detach via a pull, secure locks twist to open so they will hold your glasses vertical but can easily be switched out by you
  3. Don't mind the larger profile- secure locks are the largest attachment type of the three
